Electric Bike = Green Commute

B eing green is what it's all about just before spring plantings. So my friend pointed me in the direction of an electric bike shop in china town on Hester St.and I went over there to look. My wife needed to get wheels for a short commute to work - after talking about it and gee jawing endlessly we came up with an e-bike as a solution. The staff was great to talk to although they spoke mostly chinese they seemed to get the gist of my requests in english and we even negotiated some on the price.

Abstract expressionism has natural roots!

A bstract expressionism's allure brought me here a few years ago when I settled in New York City to do media based art. The lore of New York City's rich heritage in art communities was intrigueing. However recently ventured outdoors to do some gardening. After last summer 's commercial work - a change was needed and so engaged in environmental restoration and ecological education. There's a quaint connection for the period where Pollack was working for the FAP. In any case the oil paintings / oil pastels shown here are prophetic of a current floral perception - now it's become clear how important the natural world outside is.

ECO-BEVERAGE REVIEW: La Rocca Vinyards 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Organic Wine

L a Rocca Cabernet Sauvignon is an organic wine recommended by the store manager at New Embassy Liquors , I found it again when I went upstate - so this wine seems popular. The number of organic wines is fairly small in the shops I have looked in numbering only a dozen or so - finding the same wine in two different shops is often either because of solid distribution or strong popularity in this writer's humble opinion.
